Meet Margaret Teague

 B.A., M.Ed MSW '24

Hi There! I’m Margaret Teague, a Kids Life Coach and therapist in training, empowering adolescent and teens hearts and minds; guiding them as they discover their most authentic, best selfs. Through 1:1 Coaching & Educational Workshops, I use evidence-based practices that inspire kids to meet their goals & make healthy choices.

I provide impactful, interactive 6 week workshops on Positive Masculinity and Female Empowerment where adolescents have a safe space to learn about and share the complexities of growing up, as well as an educational, game-based workshop on Current Events! 

 

Whatever the needs of your child, I am here to support you in figuring out the course that’s right for you!

Positive Masculinity
Workshops

How might you describe a teen boy in your life? It’s likely that your words could include: athletic, smart, driven, funny, helpful, kind…

The qualities mentioned above are impressive & important! But what about the attributes that let others know how your teen is actually doing, such as being vulnerable, sensitive, self-aware and open-hearted?

 

In this workshop boys contemplate society’s traditional definition of what it means to be a man, consider how historical manhood can be tied to social issues, reflect upon the opportunity to invest in friendships and uplift women, and share what type of adult men they want to be!

Female Empowerment
Workshops

We all want our girls to feel confident, practice self-love and acceptance, and realize that she is forever worthy of love and belonging.

 

We want our girls to have courage during big games, exams and performances, and to practice self-awareness and coping skills when life inevitably causes distress.

Margaret created this powerful, unique, 6 Week Workshop to support your teenager to not just survive the tough teenage years, but to realize her strength and soar!

Alcohol and Drug Prevention

Many of America’s teenagers are experimenting with pills, and the pills are becoming more lethal.

Topics for the Drug Prevention Workshop include information on some of today's most abused drugs including their long and short terms effects on the body and impact on the brain. Students also learn about substance abuse disorders, today's Opioid Epidemic & ways to stay social and safe. 

Current Event Discussion Workshop

Our current event discussion groups provide a safe and supportive space for kids and teens to explore important topics and develop critical thinking skills.

1:1 Coaching

My daughter participated in the Girl's Group throughout 5th and into 6th grade.
